Heavy duty clamp is used to suspend the casing/ screen joint on rig floor or may be supported at the ground surface by beams during the well casing and screen run in hole.
The purpose of suspending the casing and screen is to ensure the screen is held in tension during weld construction or makeup a thread connection.
